Hurricanes
Hurricane Wilma - Global Wrap® installed over 450 shrink wrap roof containments for a major Florida Insurance Carrier
Global Wrap® residential roof wrap containment is the first step in mitigating a loss when a roof is burned or blown off, or when a wall is down. Blue poly tarps only last a short while, and do not adequately protect your home's investment. Global Wrap® temporary building wrap containments can keep a family in their home, eliminating the costs of relocation, which is also a step in mitigating the losses. Even if the truss system is not in place, we can contain the roof.
The list of insurance companies that have us as preferred contractors is growing. Global Wrap® shrink film can last a year or more in the southern sun, giving the homeowner time for a new roof. Once the shrink wrap containment is done the home can be dried out, reducing the chance of mold and making reconstruction a faster process. Global Wrap® helps in closing the file.

Fire Restoration
When an arsonist fire bombed a church in Alabama, the carrier called us in to not only preserve the damaged interior, but to protect the evidence for forensics. Our crew first had to over come the fact that the truss system was gone and create one to support the Global Wrap® containment. We completed this project in two days.
Another carrier called Global Wrap® for a house fire in Montclair, NJ, again, the truss system was gone. Both these jobs called for high safety.

Tornados
A major carrier brought Global Wrap® in to dome a high school roof in Oklahoma. Our crews installed our unique Cabling Truss System© over the entire 30,000 sq. ft and then we installed the Global Wrap® shrink wrap system. This job was completed in a week and the roofing began beneath the Shrink Wrap Dome©

When a series of tornados hit Atlanta, Georgia, Global Wrap® was brought in to wrap an entire apartment complex after the windows were blown out and the roofs were blown off. Our Global Wrap® crews worked around the clock wrapping the buildings. When we say, "We've Got You Coveredsm", we mean it literally.

Oklahoma City Bombing
Global Wrap® was called in by the carrier and cleared by the FBI in one day. We were the first contractor cleared for work due to the asbestos coming out of the buildings across the street from the Murrah Federal Courthouse. The roofs had been blown back and the asbestos was coming out onto the rescue teams. Working in full respiratory gear and clothing, we completed the first building by 3:00am and moved onto the next one.
